Board Info

The 34-R Surfboard Specs:

This Model is a very versatile high performance short board, designed to fit perfectly in the pocket of the wave without losing control. The 34-R will engage in any point break or beach break, it is suitable for intermediate up to advance surfers, from step up to grommet short board. This killer model will engage in the rail to rail game featuring low apex, subtle nose rocker, slight single to flat concaves and squash tail would make this your go to for every fun surf session. This board can be ridden in pretty much any size, condition or wave shape but best to be surfed in 4 to 5ft short break, beach break, reef break or point break. We recommend narrower for more high performance competitive surfing and wider for a more groveler feel. This short board design can have multiple variations, from a wider tail, slight pulled tail, wider or narrower nose for more critical surfing or variable wave conditions.

Why "34-R"

High way 34 aka “Ruta 34” connects beaches from Jaco down to Panama.  A long this high way there are several surf spots including world famous Jaco Beach, Playa Hermosa Jaco, Bejuco, Esterillos, Dominical, playa Hermosa de Osa, and our local break Playa Chaman, continuing all the way down to Playa Pavones. Brand founder Genaro Garro and Garro board riders alike will find themselves traveling Ruta 34 to find some of Costa Rica's best Pacific coast breaks, and what better way to do it than on a board that truly represents the local culture.
